Temples: Temples to Rulnor always face east, toward the rising sun. They are usually large white stone buildings with many columns, often inscribed with quotations regarding honor, valor, victory, and justice. The eastern-facing entrance will usually have a large stained glass window above the doors, which illuminates the entire temple. Upon the altar there will be a golden cloth, upon which four candles remain lit at all times, each representing honor, valor, victory, and justice. Many major services are held at dawn, with the climax of the service timed to coincide with sunlight pouring into the temple and striking the wall behind the altar, projecting a sun from the stained glass. In remote areas where white stone is unavailable, temples may be built out of other materials – in those cases they will always be painted white.
