Temples: There are no temples to Yatt. Followers (Yatti) believe in the self, not silly public ceremonial traditions. The relationship between your god and yourself is private, there is no need for validation to others by attending mass, or parading around with like minded strangers to feel a sense of belonging. When asked about religious beliefs, Yatti usually reply with something along the lines of “I believe in myself”. Yatti do set up very humble shrines within their homes, usually consisting of little more than a shelf, a candle, incense, and Yatt’s symbol marked upon the wall above the shelf. Guidance comes in the form of quiet inner reflection, where Yatt’s presence is usually more felt than heard. When you have a problem that’s troubling you, Yatt doesn’t answer your prayers directly… instead he helps lead your thoughts to a solution that uses your inner strength.
