Mytar

Mytar is a region of rolling hills, which has been ravaged by war for centuries. Originally an elven bastion, it has suffered a relentless orc invasion from the northern regions of Aknok and Utor. Only a few elves are old enough to remember Mytar’s former beauty, and it is their stories that motivate the younger elven defenders in their cause to reclaim their home.

As the elves were driven south, they enlisted the help of the humans from Fortide and Piquant, as the invasion could eventually reach them as well, if it were not stopped.

The elves regrouped in the coastal city of Myjinbir, and the humans established a semi-permanent presence in the fort-city of Silverhan, where they could more easily command their local forces.

The orc-occupied city of Kor’Taap (previously Dirinbir) was an elven city that has been claimed (and thus renamed) by the orcs. That area is still under dispute. Both the elves and the orcs claim it as their own.

Because of the high concentration of half-elves and half-orcs in Mytar, due to the elf/human alliance and orc raids, it is often disparagingly referred to as “The Land of Half-Breeds”.
