Very little information is available about the arctic wasteland known as Risonhan. For ages, the dwarves of both Noorsdad and Andargard have avoided the place, as ancient texts have described many lost expeditions. There was one account in a captain’s log that spoke of a sighting of frost giants on the shore:

“There stood upon the shore an immense fiend, no less than twenty feet tall, who began to hurl mighty stones of ice at the ship from a great distance. Within moments several more of its kind arrived, and joined in the volley. So great was the fear of the crew that we turned and narrowly escaped to the waters of Noorsdad, swearing never to return again.”
