Dinwan
Located south of Fortide, Dinwan is mainly comprised of vast prairies and grasslands. It is an exceptionally peaceful land, and its humble population primarily consists of small nomadic tribes of humans, and monks who live tucked away inside monasteries.
Small farming communities pepper the region, though they are few and far between, since the soil really only produces grains such as wheat, barley, and hay. The limitation on crops has somewhat stagnated the local economy. Many crossroad villages subsidize their farming income with inns and taverns run by the community, which offer a warm meal and a bed to weary travelers.
Monastic temples can be found sprinkled throughout Dinwan, as isolation is easy to find in the vast expanse... especially in the southern portion of the region where mountains run along the border of Dinwan and Xunta.
While there is no real centralized government, the tribes and monks have banded together on many occasions to defend the land and their ways of life from impolite intruders. The residents Dinwan do not get involved in foreign politics, unless they have no choice.
The southeastern part of the region is home to an enormous crevasse known as "The Breach".

Muffalo
Dinwan is home to Muffalo, which are large herbivores who wander the plains in herds. They are flighty and peaceful, until provoked - at which time they will become an angry, feral stampede. Muffalo have been trained as pack animals, but rarely mate in captivity. Tribesmen of Dinwan use most parts of muffalo, including their fur, meat, bones, sinew, and fat. Muffalo milk is highly regarded as a delicacy, since it must be harvested from a wild mother who has recently given birth, since muffalo usually won't mate in captivity.
