During times of peace most of the Warforged troops are stored in stasis, in a vast underground holding facility that resembles a gigantic bee hive, with each hex containing one Warforged. It is fittingly called "The Hive".

Warforged are constructs created by the gnomes of Tinkettle in Mivdencatch. They were originally created to protect the city during war. During peaceful times they act as the city guard and slave labor, roles the Warforged are perfectly happy filling.

They are rarely seen outside of Mivdencatch, but some have earned their freedom through heroic deeds. Most of the world's population have never seen one in person.
